StandardWCAG 2.1 Level AA
Accessibility
Last reviewed: October 24, 2026
Our goal
We want everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to use this website and ask Beaver about their project. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
What we have done
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to content" link.
- Pages have clear headings and landmarks for screen readers.
- Photos have text descriptions.
- Narrated videos have captions, and our ADU film also has a written transcript.
- Slideshows that change on their own have a pause button.
- Text and buttons meet the contrast levels in the standard.
- Pages work on phones and when you zoom in to 200%.
- Form fields have labels, and errors are announced.
We test the site with automated accessibility checks and by hand, and we check new pages before they go live.
Known limits
The lot check uses Los Angeles County's public property records and maps. We don't control that data, and some map details may not be fully readable by a screen reader. If you need lot information in another way, ask us and we'll go over it with you by phone.
Tell us about a problem
If something on this site is hard to use, or you need information in another format, send us a call request and write "accessibility" in the notes. Tell us the page and what went wrong. We'll call you back and help you directly.
